The Maker's Journey through the Seasons
Beginning May 17 - October 
​
A monthly journey through the nature year making medicine with plants, crafts & earth wisdom in the ways of old.
 
Your HedgeWise journey will follow the seasonal growth of the plant world, beginning with the flowers in the spring and ending with roots in late fall.
​
You'll learn to make a variety of medicines from teas and tinctures, to salves and syrups to fermented drinks.
​
Woven into your journey each month, will also
be making sacred talismans such as rattles, spirit dolls,
clay effigies and more.

We've designed our place to provide comfort, while also giving you the experience and the healing benefits of being in nature. To wake up hearing the morning chorus of songbirds, or the howls of coyotes in the distance as the evening sun drops behind the valley hills, lends itself to a magical and inspiring experience with nature.

We are known for the unique lifestyle that is the very essence of Hawk Circle.  A curative lifestyle that is deeply rooted in the natural world and heals the weary heart, comforts frazzled nerves and stirs the soul awake.

 

Paths that wind through vegetable, herb and flower gardens, soul-quenching, organic, home-made meals, fresh spring water, our young food forest, hand-woven baskets, and rawhide lanterns all make for a creative, nature-inspired life.

We are located in the historic Leatherstocking region, just a short, idyllic drive from Cooperstown, with a variety of shops, museums and restaurants to explore.

Our area is known to attract artists and writers inspired by the beauty of the natural world.

About Hawk Circle

Hawk Circle is nestled in the rolling valley hills of Cherry Valley, NY situated on over 200 acres of woods, fresh water springs and old pasture lands. White-tail deer freely roam, along with bobcats, bears, foxes and weasels. 

 

Hawk Circle began over 30 years ago as a wilderness summer camp for children and has expanded over the years as a place where people come, seeking healing and renewal, inspiration, sustainable life skills and a deep connection with the natural world.
